Ako Sago

Ako Sago was born in Japan and initially received her ballet training at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam. In 2021 she continued her training at the Ballet School of Theater Basel, which she completed in the summer of 2023. During her studies she took part in the Gala of the Ballettschule Theater Basel where she danced in works by Craig Davidson, Richard Wherlock, among others. During her last semester, she worked with Igor Bacovich, on ''Travellous'' by Iratxe Ansa and ''Chäs'' by Heinz Spoerli for the school's summer gala. She has been a company member of the Ballett am Rhein since the 2023/24 season.
