Anne Marchand

Anne Marchand was born in Berne and studied with Birgit Keil and Vladimir Klos at the Academy of Dance in Mannheim. Her first engagement was with the ballet company of Stadttheater Bremerhaven led by Jörg Mannes. Further engagements followed with Ballet d’Europe in Marseille, Ballet Preljocaj in Aix en Provence, Compañía Metros in Barcelona and Stadttheater Bern. In 2006 she joined ballettmainz under Martin Schläpfer, with whom she then moved to Düsseldorf in 2009 to join the Ballett am Rhein in 2009, where she has danced in works choreographed by Martin Schläpfer as well as pieces by George Balanchine, Hubert Essakow, Kurt Jooss, Terence Kohler, Amanda Miller, Boris Randzio and Antony Tudor.
