Daniel Miroslaw

Daniel Miroslaw is a graduate of the Juilliard School (New York), the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) and the Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland.
In the current season, Daniel Miroslaw made his debut at the Theater an der Wien as Frère Laurent (Gounod "Roméo et Juliette") and returned to the Hanover State Opera as Jago (Verdi "Otello"). In the summer, he will make his debut as Alfio/Tonio in "Cavalleria rustiana"/"Pagliacci" in Toulon and can be seen as Scarpia at the Chile Opera Nacional.
Highlights of recent seasons include Gérard in "Andrea Chenier" in Sankt Gallen, the Wasserman in "Rusalka" and the title role in Rimsky-Korsakov's "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" at the Staatstheater Hannover and Escamillo in "Carmen" at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. In Santiago Chile, Daniel Miroslaw sang the title role in Mozart's "Don Giovani" and Méphistophélès in "Faust". At the Zurich Opera House, he embodied the role of the Speaker in "Die Zauberflöte". His previous engagements also include the role of Truffaldin in "Ariadne auf Naxos" and Dr. Grenville in "La Traviata" at the Glyndebourne Festival.
Daniel Miroslaw began his singing career as a bass, but his voice has since developed into that of a heroic baritone. He has made notable debuts in this fach, including the role of Iago in Verdi's "Otello" at the Staatstheater Hannover and Scarpia in Puccini's "Tosca" at the Opéra National de Lorraine.
