Helena du Mesnil de Rochemont

Helena du Mesnil de Rochemont is a stage designer and artist from Frankfurt. Her educational path led via sociology and comparative political science to interior design.
A turn towards action art, oscillating between architecture, photography and sculpture, forms the basis of her creativity. Assignments at the Residenztheater Munich and the Badisches Staatstheater led her to collaborations with Anna Bergmann, Maxim Didenko, Nils Strunk, Miloš Lolić and Ewelina Marciniak, among others.
After the stage design for “Water me” at Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, “Invocation” is her second work with choreographer Mthuthuzeli November.
