Jorge Ruvalcaba

Baritone Jorge Ruvalcaba began his vocal training at the Escuela Superior de Música in Mexico and graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Vocal Performance in 2020. In addition to his international concert activities, he has already sung the title roles in "Eugene Onegin" (Pforzheim Theatre) and in "Gianni Schicci" and has sung the roles of Schaunard ("La bohème"), Mercutio ("Roméo et Juliette") and Il Conte ("Le nozze di Figaro") in Berlin and Gabriel von Eisenstein ("Die Fledermaus") in San Francisco. From 2020 to 2023, Jorge Ruvalcaba was a member of the International Opera Studio at the Stuttgart State Opera, where he appeared in roles such as Albert ("Werther"), Moralès ("Carmen"), Prince Yamadori ("Madama Butterfly"), Herr Eiler ("Der Schauspieldirektor") and Fiorello ("Il barbiere di Siviglia"). Jorge Ruvalcaba has been a member of the musical theatre ensemble at Theater Aachen since the 2023/24 season.
