Nikolay Iossifov

Nikolay Iossifov is a French dancer who trained at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam after studying at VM Ballet in Toulouse and the École Nationale de Danse de Marseille.

From 2023 to 2025, he danced with the Companhia Nacional de Bailado in Lisbon, Portugal, performing both classical and contemporary repertoire. His repertoire includes works by Hofesh Shechter, Sharon Eyal, Johan Inger, William Forsythe, George Balanchine, Mauro Bigonzetti, and Vasco Wellenkamp, as well as roles such as the Gurn solo in "La Sylphide" and soloist and demi-soloist roles in "Alice in Wonderland".

Prior to joining the Companhia Nacional de Bailado, Nikolay danced with the Finnish National Ballet during the 2022/23 season, appearing in productions including "Romeo and Juliet" by John Cranko, "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by Wayne Eagling, and "Peppi Pitkätossu" by Pär Isberg.

During the 2025/26 season, he worked as a freelance artist, pursuing independent artistic projects and collaborations across Europe.
