Stefan Kiefer

Stefan Kiefer was born in Neuss in 1969 and completed his acting training at the Neue Münchner Schauspielschule after graduating from high school. His first engagement took him to the Städtische Bühnen Erfurt in 1994, followed by 15 years of permanent engagements at the Theater Konstanz, the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, and the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. From 2009 to 2015, he worked as a freelancer and made guest appearances at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen, the Theater Pforzheim, the Fritz Rémond Theater Frankfurt, the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart, and at festivals in Heppenheim, Wangen, Göppingen, and Bad Vilbel. In 2014, he and colleagues founded the independent theater collective "SpVgg Widrige Umstände." In 2015, he returned to the Pfalztheater as a permanent ensemble member and particularly enjoyed the ongoing collaboration with acting director Harald Demmer and directors such as Yvonne Kespohl, Jan Langenheim, Fanny Brunner, Tim Tonndorf, and Nicolai Sykosch. Since 2024, he has been working freelance again. Stefan Kiefer feels equally at home in serious and comedic roles as well as in musical productions.
