Stina Quagebeur

Belgian-born Stina Quagebeur is currently Associate Choreographer at the English National Ballet (ENB) in London after working there as a dancer for nineteen years. She worked intensively with Akram Khan on his new creations and created leading roles in his acclaimed productions of “Giselle” and “Creature”.
She received her first major choreographic opportunity in 2019 from Tamara Rojo when she was commissioned to create her first piece for the main stage at Sadler's Wells in London.
“Nora”, based on Ibsen's play “A Doll's House”, was nominated for “Best Classical Choreography” and Stina Quagebeur won the “Emerging Artist” award at the 2020 National Dance Awards. She was subsequently appointed Associate Choreographer of the ENB.
The choreographer created a total of 19 creations for the ENB and its youth company. Since then, she has also worked internationally and created works for the Joffrey Ballet, Lauren Cuthbertson from the Royal Ballet at the Joyce Theatre in New York, the Northern Ballet, the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Ballet X and for the opera production “La clemenza di Tito” at the Theater an der Wien.
Stina Quagebeur makes her debut at the Ballett am Rhein with the new creation “Omelas”.
