Davidson Jaconello

Davidson Jaconello is a dancer and sound designer for stage productions. He completed his classical dance training at the National Ballet School of Canada, the Harrid Conservatory for the Arts in Florida and the School of American Ballet in New York. He was then engaged by the Alberta Ballet in Canada from 2007 to 2010 before becoming a soloist at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in 2011. He has been working as a freelance dancer since 2016 and also creates sound and music for dance and theatre productions. Davidson is a self-taught sound designer. He also studied with world-renowned dance and film composer Dirk Haubrich in 2018, who is best known for his compositions for choreographer Jiří Kylián. Jaconello's focus is on collaboration with other artists and the pursuit of simplicity. He seeks new methods to expand visual experiences through sound. He has created sound for companies around the world, including Nederlands Dance Theater II, Alberta Ballet, Nationaltheater Mannheim, West Australian Ballet, Delattre Dance Company and Ballett Trier. In this way he has worked with Jiří Pokorný, Ihsan Rustem, Mauro Astolfi, Ivan Alboresi, Roberto Scafati and Raimondo Rebeck.
