Adrien Perruchon

Born in France in 1983, Adrien Perruchon began his training on the piano before moving on to bassoon and percussion and finally to the conductor's podium as his career progressed. He has conducted renowned orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, The Cleveland Orchestra, Orchestre National d'Île de France, L'Orchestre National Montpellier, Orchestre National de Lorraine, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the WDR Funkhausorchester, Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Mozarteum Salzburg, NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has also made guest appearances with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the English Chamber Orchestra in London and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and has led a European tour with Gautier Capuçon and the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, among others. Adrien Perruchon's discography includes an Opus Klassik award-winning recording with Anneleen Lenaerts and the Brussels Philharmonic, violin concertos by Stravinsky and Corigliano, and the first piano concertos by Beethoven and Liszt, among others. Since the 2021/22 season, he holds the position of music director at the Orchestre Lamoureux.
Adrien Perruchon will again conduct Offenbach's "Orpheus in der Unterwelt" at Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the 2023/24 season.
