Description
With a workshop offer for schools in Düsseldorf and Duisburg, the dance education department of the Ballett am Rhein "Tanz mit! would like to give school classes a chance to come into contact with this special art form. The project "Tanz mit! + Tanz mal!" project transfers the cooperation project between the Semperoper Dresden and the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden to Düsseldorf and Duisburg. As part of the project, video tutorials were created for school teachers. These provide an insight into the project as well as ideas and examples for teachers who would like to introduce dance into their lessons: Semperoper bewegt - Semperoper Dresden

CONTENTS
- Highly qualified teams of dance teachers come to the school and conduct dance workshops
- School classes get the chance to attend rehearsals of the Ballett am Rhein in the Ballet House
- Possibility of attending a performance at the Düsseldorf Opera House or the Duisburg Theatre at the school class price.
OBJECTIVES
- Strengthening the perception and appreciation of dance as an accessible form of art and expression in schools
- Strengthening the body awareness of pupils through dance exercises and improvisation games, as well as discovering and exploring possibilities of non-verbal communication
- Developing one's own creative potential in a playful way
- Strengthening the motivation to dance and the joy of dancing and moving
- Contact between pupils and artists of the Ballett am Rhein through rehearsal visits to the Ballet House and performance visits to the Düsseldorf Opera House or Duisburg Theatre
