Bernard Daydé

Stage and Costume Designer
Bernard Daydé was born in 1921 in Paris, France, and was one of the most frequently used designers of the post-war era – not only in France, where he started by making ballet decor for Jean Babillé and Nathalie Philippart. He has been working at La Scala in Milan, at the Paris Opera, at the Lincoln Center in New York, and collaborated with Flemming Flindt at the productions of “The Lesson” on several stages world-wide as well as for “The three Musketeers”.
