Camilla Agraso

Camilla Agraso was born in Toronto, Ontario and began her formal training at the age of 12 at the National Ballet School of Canada. During her time at the school, Camilla performed in a variety of works, most notably in the lead roles of Molly in John Neumeier's "Yondering" and Teresina in August Bournonville's "Napoli". After graduating in 2019, she entered the Post-Secondary Program at the Canadian National Ballet School. As part of this programme, she performed in "Reverie", a new work by Jera Wolfe at Le Festival des Arts de Saint-Sauveur. She has also danced with the National Ballet of Canada in their productions of James Kudelka's "The Nutcracker" and Rudolf Nureyev's "Sleeping Beauty". Her repertoire includes classical, neo-classical and contemporary works by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Peggy Baker, Nacho Duato, Cathy Marston and Marius Petipa. As a volunteer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, she danced in Marcia Haydee's production of Sleeping Beauty in 2022. She has been a company member of the Ballett am Rhein since the 2022/23 season and danced the grandmother in Demis Volpis 'der Nussknacker' and the fire in 'the little match girl passion'.
