Andreas Etter
Andreas Etter was born in Switzerland. Initially, he was engaged as a dancer at various stages in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany from 1984 to 2004. Since 1998 he has also been active in the field of stage photography and videography. Following his career as a dancer, he became a photographer and video artist at the Oldenburg State Theatre in 2006. Since then, he has also made guest appearances at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Musiktheater im Revier/Gelsenkirchen, Stadttheater St. Gallen, Theater Pforzheim, Staatstheater Mainz, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, at the Staatsoper Hannover as well as at MS Schrittmacher, Ensemble Modern and the festival theaterformen. Since 2014 he has been working as a freelance photographer and video artist and also creates trailers and video documentaries for theatres, ensembles and festivals. In Elisabeth Stöppler's team, he worked together with Fabio Stoll as a video artist for the Semperoper Dresden, Oper Frankfurt, Musiktheater im Revier/Gelsenkirchen and Staatstheater Mainz. At the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, this collaboration continues in Ilaria Lanzino's direction of Lucia Ronchetti's "Das fliegende Klassenzimmer".
