Clara Nougué-Cazenave

Dancer
French born Clara Nougué-Cazenave trained as a dancer at the Conservatoire Régional Boulogne-Billancour and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse Lyon. As a member of the Jeune Ballet Lyon she performed in works including "The Vile Parody of Address" by William Forsythe and "Body in a Cage" by Stephen Dellatre. In 2018 and 2019, she danced in Roland Petit’s "Notre Dame de Paris" and Frederick Ashton’s "La fille mal gardée" for the Opera of Bordeaux ballet company. In 2019 she performed as a guest in Rossini’s "Guillaume Tell", choreographed by Demis Volpi. IN her addition to her work as a dancer, she has also acted on camera with credits including the series "Find me in Paris" and "Opera", a series about the Paris Opera’s ballet company. Clara Nougué-Cazenave became a member of the Ballett am Rhein company at the beginning of the 2020/21 season. She has since danced in works choreographed by Demis Volpi, including "The Nutcracker", "A simple piece", "Geschlossene Spiele", where she danced the role of a Waiter, as Herr Gevatter in "Krabat" and in Volpi's "The thing with feather's". She also danced in "Don't look at the jar" by Gil Harush, "Short Cut" by John Neumeier and "Choleric" by Hélène Blackburn.
