Vincent Hoffman-Simões

As a teenager Netherlands-born Vincent Hoffman-Simões attended the dance school of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, subsequently graduating as a Bachelor of Arts in 2010, with the support of a scholarship from Stichting Dansersfonds ’79. That year he joined Het Nationale Ballet in Amsterdam under Artistic Director Ted Brandsen, dancing in works choreographed by Frederick Ashton, Rudi van Dantzig, Hans van Manen, John Neumeier, Krzysztof Pastor, Marius Petipa, Alexei Ratmansky, Christopher Wheeldon, Peter Wright and others. He also appeared in works choreographed by Jiří Kylián and Hans van Manen for the Holland Dance Festival On Tour. Vincent Hoffman-Simões became a member of the Ballett am Rhein company at the beginning of the 2015/16 season and has since danced in works by choreographers including George Balanchine, Hubert Essakow, William Forsythe, Hans van Manen, Ohad Naharin, Ben J. Riepe, Jerome Robbins, Martin Schläpfer and Paul Taylor. His most recent appearnces include roles in Aszure Barton’s ‘Come In’, Roland Petit’s ‘Carmen’ and Demis Volpi’s ‘The Nutcracker’.
