Lorena Krüger

Lorena Krüger was born in 1989 in the Bergisches Land region and discovered her love for ballet at an early age. While still a student, she gained her first professional stage experience as a dancer at the Wuppertaler Bühnen in productions such as Abraham’s “Viktoria and Her Hussar” and Jule Styne’s “Sugar—Some Like It Hot.” This was followed by training as a musical theater performer at the Stage School in Hamburg. At the Kleines Theater Bad Godesberg, she appeared as a Kit Kat Girl and Miss Kost (Kander’s “Cabaret”), and as Anne Dindon and Cagelle (Herman’s “La Cage aux Folles”). In John Patrick Shanley’s play “Doubt,” she played Sister James; in Noël Coward’s “Private Lives,” she played Sybil Chase; and most recently, she took on the role of Suzon in Robert Thomas’s “Eight Women.”
At the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Lorena Krüger has already appeared as a dancer in Strauss’s “Die Fledermaus” and will take the stage in both Leonard Bernstein’s “On the Town” and Frederick Loewe’s “My Fair Lady” during the 2026/27 season.
