On 2 September 2023, the opening of the season in Düsseldorf will finally be "Opera on the Rhine for everyone!" Under the musical direction of GMD Axel Kober, members of the ensemble and the choir of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein will present musical highlights together with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra on the open-air stage in the Rheinpark
Golzheim.

Bring your loved ones, family and friends together on the picnic blanket and listen to the most beautiful opera melodies as the sun sets on the wide meadows of the park, for free, outside and for everyone, with a view of the Rhine! Götz Alsmann will be the host.

Admission
Admission to "Opera on the Rhine for All" is free.
Official admission begins at 5.30 pm.

Seating
There are only a few seats. Some of them will be released from 5.30 pm. Advance reservations are not possible.

Please understand that some of the seats are reserved exclusively for spectators with limited mobility. The allocation will be decided on the spot. If you need one of these seats, please speak to our service staff. Please understand, however, that we cannot guarantee a seat under any circumstances. Here, too, the principle applies: first come, first serve.

Bring your own chairs!
Make yourself comfortable on your picnic blanket or bring your camping chairs and enjoy the special atmosphere of the open-air concert on the Rhine.

Food and drink
Your physical well-being will be catered for at several drinks and snack stations as well as in a wine tent. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic, if you like.

Weather
The weather will of course be fine, sunny and extremely pleasant on the evening of 2 September.
If not, the old Rhineland wisdom applies: There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes. Bringing along umbrellas and jackets is not only expressly permitted in the case of appropriate weather prospects, but also welcome.

Attendance at the open-air concert is barrier-free.

There are, of course, accessible toilets.

Wheelchair users can find a seat anywhere on the grounds - we recommend that accompanying persons bring a folding chair or similar.

There are a few seats in the front area. Some of these are reserved for spectators with limited mobility. The allocation will be decided on site from 5.30 pm. The Open Air takes place at the same venue as the alltours cinema.

Arrival by public transport
You can take the underground trains U78 and 79 to the nearby stop ERGO-Platz/Klever Straße. From there you can reach the Rheinpark within 5-10 minutes on foot.

Arrival by bicycle
The Rheinpark Golzheim offers sufficient parking space for bicycles.

Arriving by car
Parking is available in the immediate vicinity at the GOLDBECK Parking Services car park. Access is possible via the address Joseph-Beuys-Ufer 33. However, as many visitors are expected and the Caravan Salon trade fair is taking place in Düsseldorf, we advise against travelling by car. If possible, please use public transport. If you are travelling by car from surrounding towns, we recommend that you park your car in the Park & Ride car parks and use public transport from there.
