Bogdana Bevziuk

The Ukrainian soprano Bogdana Bevziuk first studied violin before beginning her vocal studies at the Tchaikovsky Academy of Music in Kiev. She is currently in her fourth year of study, is a member of Prof. Alexander Dyachenko's class and is expected to graduate in 2023. She sang the role of Oksana in the opera production "Zaporozhets beyond the Danube" by the Ukrainian composer Semen Hulak-Artemovsky, staged by the Tchaikovsky Music Academy in 2021. She is a prize-winner of the International Vasyl Slipak Singing Competition in Lviv 2021. Since the 2022/23 season, Bogdana Bevziuk has been a member of the Opera Studio of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein through a scholarship from the Kunststiftung NRW, where she will take on the role of Taumännchen (Humperdinck "Hansel and Gretel") and perform in concerts, among other roles.
