Eduardo Boechat

Ballet Repetiteur
Eduardo Boechat comes from Rio de Janeiro and completed his piano studies at the local university with distinction. From 2001 he worked as a ballet repetiteur at the Bolshoi School in Brazil and accompanied trainings, rehearsals and performances. As a sound designer, he created the music for performances of the school and its youth company and supervised Vladimir Vassilev's ballets ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Don Quixote’ and ‘Giselle’ as a repetiteur for the Bolshoi School. In 2009 and 2011 Eduardo Boechat made a guest appearance at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. From 2010 followed engagements at the Salzburg Landestheater and a close collaboration with the artistic director and choreographer Peter Breuer, for whose ballets ‘Elements’ (2010), ‘Marie Antoinette’ (2012), ‘Dance for Satisfaction’ (2015) and ‘Mythos Coco Chanel’ (2015) Eduardo Boechat arranged the music. In 2009 he founded the label Boechat Records and since then has released various CDs and DVDs for ballet lessons.
