Leo Janks first worked for Mikhail Baryshnikov in 2002 as the lighting supervisor for the final tour of the White Oak Dance Project. He also worked on Baryshnikov’s tour of "Solos with Piano…or Not", "Forbidden Christmas or The Doctor and the Patient", by Rezo Gabriadze, and Baryshnikov's tour with Ana Laguna. In 2006 he designed the lighting for "Come In" for the first tour of Hell’s Kitchen Dance and when it was performed by the Houston Ballet in 2019.
