Niklas Jendrics

Niklas Jendrics was born in Dresden and studied at the Palucca University of Dance there, where he graduated in summer 2020. In addition to courses at the Boston Ballet and the ART of summer course in Madrid, he had the opportunity to dance at the Semperoper Dresden Ballet, among others, as part of internships. His repertoire includes choreographies by Aaron S. Watkin, Jason Beechey, Kenneth MacMillan, John Neumeier and David Dawson, whose pas de deux “A Sweet Spell of Oblivion” he danced at the 2019 Youth America Grand Prix Gala.
Niklas Jendrics has been a company member of Ballett am Rhein since the 2020/21 season. He danced the Toreador in Roland Petit's “Carmen”, Coppélius in Hélène Blackburn's “Coppélia x Machina”, the Master in “Krabat”, the Judge in “Geschlossene Spiele” and Drosselmeier in “Der Nussknacker” by Demis Volpi and was in “Spectrum” by Juanjo Arqués, in Andrey Kaydanovskiy's “Die kahle Sängerin”, Aszure Barton's “Come In” and “Baal”, Twyla Tharp's “Commentaries on the Floating World”, George Balanchine's “The Four Temperaments”, “Salt Womb” by Sharon Eyal, “Visions fugitives” and “Four Schumann Pieces” by Hans van Manen, “Enemy in the figure” by William Forsythe and “Invocation” by Mthuthuzeli November.
