Vero Miller

The German mezzo-soprano and concert singer Vero Miller studied singing at the Karlsruhe University of Music and Performing Arts, the August Everding Theater Academy and the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. She is currently a member of the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg ensemble and most recently made her debuts here as Donna Elvira in Mozart's “Don Giovanni”, in 2023 as Sesto in Mozart's “La clemenza di Tito” and Second Lady in “Die Zauberflöte”. From 2018 to 2022, she made guest appearances at at the theaters in Detmold (Dorabella “Così fan tutte”), Giessen (Preziosilla, “La forza del destino”) and Mainz (Annio, “La clemenza di Tito”), as the kitchen boy (“Rusalka”) at the opera houses in Cologne and Leipzig as well as at the Theater Pforzheim (Suzuki, “Madama Butterfly”) and introduced himself as Orfeo in Gluck's “Orfeo ed Euridice” at the Wuppertal stages and at the International Gluck Festival.
From 2019 to 2021, she was part of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel, where her repertoire included - among many other roles - Hansel (“Hansel and Gretel”) and the title role Angelina (“La Cenerentola”), as well as Wellgunde/ 2nd Norn (“Das Rheingold”/“Götterdämmerung”) and Sigrune (“Die Walküre”).
Vero Miller has already received many awards and has worked with directors such as Markus Dietz, Eva-Maria Höckmayr, Markus Hertel, Nadja Loschky, Isabel Ostermann, Corinna Tetzel and Martina Veh and under the musical direction of Francesco Angelico, Attilio Cremonesi, Christoph Gedschold, Michael Hofstetter, Samuel Hogarth, Patrick Lange and Ulf Schirmer.
