Tanz mit!
Audiodescription
Beschreibung
For blind and visually impaired theatre and dance enthusiasts and those who can no longer see well, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein offers live audiodescription for selected performances of the productions of the Ballett am Rhein. During the performance, speakers describe the events on stage competently and with great feeling, either via the app installed in the user's own mobile phone or via a receiver in the opera house at one of the listening stations. Choreography and music thus combine in the mind to form a multifaceted whole. The offer is suitable for groups as well as for individual enthusiasts.
However, advance booking at the theatre box office is absolutely necessary!
For every performance with audio description, there is the possibility of a short tactile journey through the production of the evening 90 minutes before the performance begins: depending on the play, parts of the stage set, props, costume parts and wigs can be felt during a guided tour across the stage and/or into the foyer, accompanied by a special introduction to the play.
There are no extra costs for the audio description, the audio device and the pre-programme. You pay the regular box office price. The project is carried out in cooperation with the Ballettfreunde der Deutschen Oper and Rhein e.V. and Aktion Mensch.
Holders of a severely disabled pass (GdB from 70%) receive a 50% reduction on the ticket price.
This offer also applies to the accompaniment of severely disabled persons whose ID card is marked with a "B".
