Edvin Somai

Originally from Hungary, Edvin Somai is a graduate of the Palucca University of Dance, Dresden. He previously trained at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest and made guest appearances as a dancer with Semperoper Dresden and the Hungarian State Opera. Edvin Somai became a member of the Ballett am Rhein company at the beginning of the 2020/21 season. Since then, he has appeared in the role of a Waiter in Demis Volpi’s ‘Geschlossene Spiele’, the Fire Captain in Andrey Kaydanovskiy’s ‘Die kahle Sängerin’ and also in ‘Spectrum’ by Juanjo Arqués and Aszure Barton’s ‘Come In’.
