Don Giovanni - Don Juan, conceived as a character in a medieval monastery as a deterrent against dissolute mores, has become a rallying cry for the gentlemen of creation who, as libertines, womanisers and heartbreakers, exploit their potential with the ladies to the full with erotic charm, eros or healthy to unhealthy hubris. Thanks to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's masterpiece, in which Don Giovanni, who according to Leporello's register aria seduced 1003 women in Spain alone, also mirrors all the characters' own desires, and melodies like "La ci darem la mano", we still can't get enough of him today - including his hellish journey.
