Marthe Meinhold

Marthe Meinhold, born in 1997, studied philosophy and theatre studies at the Free University in her hometown of Berlin. Before studying, she worked as an assistant director at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the bat-Studiotheater at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Brotfabrik Berlin and the Theater Schwedt. Since 2018, she has been working closely with the composer, librettist and director Marius Schötz as a dramaturg, author and director. Joint works have been produced at the Volksbühne Berlin, the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, Volkstheater in Vienna ("OH DARLING - DON'T BE SUCH A BABY"), Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken ("Bouches Les Rouges - Eine Nationaloper"), Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe ("Wunder geschehen"), Schauspiel Stuttgart ("The Magic Key") and Theater Basel ("Das Narrenschiff"), among others.
Marthe Meinhold is responsible for the libretto and direction of "Kinder an die Macht!" at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein together with Marius Schötz at UFO - Junge Oper Urban.
