Fun programme & costume sale

The new season is about to start, and we’re celebrating it together with you! We’re opening the doors of Opernhaus Düsseldorf and offer a glimpse into the exciting world of theatre – both inside the opera house and around it – with a colourful programme of opera and ballet, plus plenty of activities for families and anyone curious to find out more. Everyone is warmly invited to join us on a discovery tour, take a peek behind the scenes, get to know us, or pick up a bargain at the costume sale. There will be a wide range of tasty treats on offer, from savoury snacks to coffee and cake.

Cloakroom
The cloakroom counter on the right is open: as always, this service is free of charge.
Prams & Walkers
There is a storage area for prams and walkers in the cloakroom foyer. Unfortunately, due to fire safety regulations, neither may be taken into the auditorium.
Access to the stage
Access to the stage is not disability-friendly.
Admission tickets for the backstage area
Due to limited capacity, you will need admission tickets for the guided tours and events in the rehearsal rooms. These are available half an hour before the start of each event at the information desk in front of the main entrance. If admission tickets are no longer available, you will have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes during our regular public guided tours later in the season.
Food & Drink
Drinks and food are available at our bar in the Parkett foyer and outside behind the opera house.
Please note that drinks and food may not be taken into the auditorium or onto the stage.
