Clara Nougué-Cazenave

With the ensemble since 2020/21

French born Clara Nougué-Cazenave trained as a dancer at the Conservatoire Régional Boulogne-Billancour and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse Lyon. As a member of the Jeune Ballet Lyon she performed in works including "The Vile Parody of Address" by William Forsythe and "Body in a Cage" by Stephen Dellatre.

In 2018 and 2019, she danced in Roland Petit’s "Notre Dame de Paris" and Frederick Ashton’s "La fille mal gardée" for the Opera of Bordeaux ballet company. In 2019 she performed as a guest in Rossini’s "Guillaume Tell", choreographed by Demis Volpi. IN her addition to her work as a dancer, she has also acted on camera with credits including the series "Find me in Paris" and "Opera", a series about the Paris Opera’s ballet company.

With Ballett am Rhein she danced in, among others, "Rubies" and "The Four Temperaments" by George Balanchine, the role of Herr Gevatter in "Krabat" by Demis Volpi, Gil Harush's "Don't look at the jar", "Choleric" by Hélène Blackburn, "Short Cut" by Hans van Manen, "Chalk" by Andrey Kaydanovskiy, "Enemy in the figure" by William Forsythe, "Invocation" by Mthuthuzeli November,"Ruß - Eine Geschichte von Aschenputtel" by Bridget Breiner, "Threshold of a Fall" by Lesley Telford and appeared as Stella in John Neumeier's "A Streetcar Named Desire".
