Workshops for school classes
Before or after visiting a performance
Content
School classes can book a free workshop to prepare for or follow up on a visit to the opera or ballet. Through scenic play, music-making, dancing and movement training, the class discovers the piece and the production. The workshops are tailored to the work, the type of school and the age - from first grade to upper school.
In individual dance workshops, school classes can creatively and physically discover dance for themselves - even independently of a performance visit. Through an introduction to movement theory, music and improvisation topics from our repertoire as well as from the school curricula can be actively reworked in a very special way. The goals and schedule of each workshop are clarified together and tailored to the respective school class.
The workshops take place at the school during class time and are free of charge in connection with a group reservation.
