Olgert Collaku

Olgert Collaku, born in Albania, began his ballet training at the National Ballet School of Albania and started his professional career in 2016 at the Moravian-Silesian National Ballet in the Czech Republic, where he performed in “The Nutcracker”, “Cinderella”, “Swan Lake” and “Summer Night”.
In 2017, he joined the Badisches Staatsballett Karlsruhe. Since then, he has danced a variety of roles, including Prince Paris in “Romeo and Juliet” by Kenneth MacMillan, the male title role in “The Girl and the Nutcracker” by Bridget Breiner, the Devil in “The Nutcracker” by Youri Vamos and Leicester in “Mary Stuart” by Bridget Breiner.
His other roles include the Prince in “Soot” by Bridget Breiner, appearances in “Rachmaninov” by Kevin O'Day, Arthur in “A Million Kisses to My Skin” by David Dawson and “Große Fuge” by Hans van Manen. He also danced the pas de deux and pas de trois in “Voluntaries” by Glen Tetley, as well as roles in “Giselle” by David Dawson, “Blessed Unrest” by Bridget Breiner, “Jeunehomme” by Uwe Scholz and Sir Toby in “Was Ihr Wollt” by Bridget Breiner. Olgert Collaku joined Ballett am Rhein in the 2024/25 season.
