Out into the theater, right in the heart of Duisburg! At the UFO, we bring together authentic Duisburg locals, experts and anyone interested to talk about what moves and defines the city. With music and conversations, we spread DUISBURGLIEBE in the UFO and on Opernplatz.

The first DUISBURGLIEBE event will take place in the middle of preparations for the grand season opening on the theme of human rights at Opernplatz.
Under the title “Human Rights and the District Court,” we will therefore discuss the extent to which human rights and jurisdiction are linked, based on the district court located at König Heinrich-Platz. What experiences do judges have with this topic in the courtroom? Are human rights part of or a topic in a trial?

On Tuesday, Judge Dr. Christoph Maaßen from the Duisburg District Court will be our guest and will talk about his work.
