Miquel Martínez Pedro

Spanish-born Miquel Martínez Pedro graduated from the Dance Conservatory of Valencia, where he was coached by Rafa Marder and Alicia Puchades. He also completed two series of courses with Nederlands Dans Theater, in 2018 and 2019.
Miquel Martínez Pedro became a member of the Ballett am Rhein company at the beginning of the 2020/21 season: his first professional engagement. He has since danced in Demis Volpi’s "The Nutcracker" and in the role of the Chicken in "Geschlossene Spiele" as well as in Aszure Barton’s "Come In" and in Andrey Kaydanovskiy’s "Die kahle Sängerin", Sharon Eyal's "Salt Womb", "Le sacre du printemps" by Marcos Morau, "Don't look at the jar" by Gil Harush, "Phlegmatic summer" by Michèle Anne de Mey and "Choleric" by Hélène Blackburn. For his outstanding performance of the title character in Aszure Barton's new creation "Baal", Miquel Martínez Pedro was nominated for the renowned theatre prize "DER FAUST" in 2022.
