David Fischer has already sung several roles at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, and in 2023/24 he made his debut as Lenski in Tchaikovsky's “Eugen Onegin.” The role of Tamino (Mozart “Die Zauberflöte”) has already taken Fischer to the Salzburg Festival, the Semperoper Dresden, and the Leipzig Opera. He also sang the role of Piquillo in Offenbach's “La Périchole” at the Theater an der Wien. In the past, Fischer has worked with conductors such as René Jacobs, Philippe Herreweghe, Sylvain Cambreling, Howard Arman, Axel Kober, Joana Mallwitz, Will Humburg, Frieder Bernius, Jordan de Souza, and Andreas Reize, and has toured Asia and Europe with orchestras such as the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, the Freiburger Barockorchester, the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, and the B'Rock Orchestra. He has performed at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Kunstpalast Budapest, Hamburg's St. Michael's Church (with the Hamburg Ballet), the NFM Wrocław, the NDR, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. David Fischer works closely with his Finnish song partner Pauliina Tukiainen, with whom he has given recitals at the Festival Classique des Haudères, in Geneva, at the Schumann Festival in Bonn, and the Schaffhauser Master Concerts.

In the 2025/26 season, he will appear at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein as Tamino (Mozart's “Die Zauberflöte”) and Vanya Kudryashov (Janáček's “Katja Kabanova”), as well as participating in a song matinee.
