Kimberley Boettger-Soller was accepted into the Institute for the Early Promotion of Highly Gifted Musicians at the University of Music, Drama, and Media in Hanover at the age of fourteen. From 2008 to 2015, she studied at the Berlin University of the Arts under Julie Kaufmann, Axel Bauni, and Eric Schneider and was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation and the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin e.V. support program. With her duo partner Melissa Gore, the mezzo-soprano won first prize in the “Song Duo” category at the International Chamber Music Competition Franz Schubert and Modern Music in Graz in 2015. In the same year, she made her debut as Cherubino in Mozart's “Le nozze di Figaro” at the Junge Oper Schloss Weikersheim under the baton of Bruno Weil. In the 2016/17 season, she was a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Niederbayern before joining the ensemble at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
Here, her roles for the 2025/26 season include Angelina (Rossini's “La Cenerentola”), Third Maid (R. Strauss' “Elektra”), Roßweiße (Wagner's “Die Walküre”), Varvara (Janáček's “Katja Kabanova”), Hänsel (Humperdinck's “Hänsel und Gretel”), Fenena (Verdi's “Nabucco”) and Hodel (Bock's “Anatevka”) and she will also take part in a song matinee.
