Inside Out

A dance performance without an audience. Is that possible? Yes, if the audience members themselves become performers! In the interactive performance “Inside Out,” participants experience a choreography by dancing along and becoming part of the action.

“Inside Out” is taking place for the first time in cooperation with the Gymnasium Essen-Werden high school. The performance is being realized together with students who are specifically preparing for a professional dance career as part of their school education. Each participant receives headphones through which tasks and prompts for participation are communicated. This creates an intense shared dance experience. No previous dance experience is required to participate."

In order to experience the interactive performance in the best possible way, we recommend comfortable, sporty clothing. Dancing on the sensitive ballet floor is done barefoot or on socks.
