Robin Frindt

The bass-baritone Robin Frindt, born in Hildesheim, studied under Prof. Sabine Ritterbusch, Prof. Gudrun Pelker and Prof. Peter Anton Ling at the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover, where he completed his Master’s degree in opera in 2025. Alongside his studies, Robin Frindt was very active as an oratorio singer and in vocal ensembles, and sang his first opera roles as a guest performer on the stage. In 2023/24, he appeared at the Landestheater Detmold in the productions of “Turandot” and “La fanciulla del west” by Giacomo Puccini, and in the summer of 2024 he made his house debut at the Hanover State Opera as the Servant in “The Fall of the House of Usher” by Philip Glass and in the children’s opera “Wanda Walfisch”. For the 2025/26 season, he was a member of the opera studio at the Theater Lübeck and made his debut as Maestro Spinelloccio in Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” at the Theater Kiel.

From the 2026/27 season onwards, he will be a member of the opera studio at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
