Born in London, Morenike Fadayomi trained as a dancer in Zurich at the Colombo Dance Factory and as a singer in Vienna with Prof. Mag. U. Preier-Raunacher. A soloist at the Stadttheater Basel from 1993 to 1996 and at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein since 1997, her diverse repertoire includes roles such as Tosca (Puccini's “Tosca”), Salome (R. Strauss' “Salome”), Aida (Verdi's “Aida”), Turandot (Puccini's “Turandot”) and many more. International guest performances have taken her to Vienna, Rome, Turin, Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, São Paulo, Washington, Chicago and Los Angeles, among other places.

In the 2025/26 season, Morenike Fadayomi will sing the role of Madame Dilly in Bernstein’s “On the Town” at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, as well as once again singing the Witch in Humperdinck's “Hänsel und Gretel” and Yente in Bock's “Anatevka” at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
