Kammersänger Hans-Peter König is a member of the ensemble at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. In addition, he has been a guest performer for many years at all the major theatres in Germany and abroad, including the Munich and Vienna State Operas, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, and the Bayreuth and Salzburg Festivals.The great bass roles of opera and concert literature form the artist's extensive repertoire.

During the 2026/27 season, Hans-Peter König will appear as Veit Pogner (Wagner’s “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg”) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
