English singer Jacob Harrison studied singing with Christiano Manzoni and Anna Auguri at the Accademia Europea di Firenze and international relations at the University of Exeter before furthering his vocal studies with Robert Dean at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. He has also participated in several masterclasses with Lise Davidsen, Adrian Kelly and Ann Murray, among others. Jacob Harrison has received numerous prizes and scholarships, including the Wyburd Prize for Lied singing in 2021, the Keith Bonnington Prize and the Weston Award at the Chris Treglown Competition in 2022, and the Van Allan Opera Award in 2024. In 2023, he was also an Opera Europa Eva Kleinitz scholarship holder.
In the 2025/26 season, Jacob Harrison will once again be seen as Sciarrone (Puccini's “Tosca”), Sprecher (Mozart's “Die Zauberflöte”) and Schulkind Carlo / Fee (Meinhold/Schötz's “Pinocchio”), and will also take on the roles of Sadoc (Gounod's “Die Königign von Saba”), Spinelloccio (Puccini's “Gianni Schicchi”) and Second Grail Knight (Wagner's “Parsifal”). He can also be heard in the opera studio's masterclass concerts and other concert formats.
