Bregje van Balen

Born in the Netherlands, Bregje van Balen began working as a costume designer during her career as a dancer at the Nederlands Dans Theater. She is responsible for the costume design in productions by Alexander Ekman, Johan Inger, Patrick Delcroix, Jorma Elo, Cathy Marston, Medhi Walerski, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Kaloyan Boyadjiev and Jo Strømgren. Working at theaters such as Netherlands Dancetheater, the Royal Ballet London, the Royal Swedish Ballet, Gothenburg ballet, the Royal Danish Ballet, the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, Zurich Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet and the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
