Vinícius Vieira

            Born in Joinville,  a city of the State Santa Catarina-Brazil, Vinícius Vieira studied at the  Bolshoi Theater Ballet School in Brazil from 2003 to 2011. In 2012, he was  hired by the Companhia Jovem Bolshoi Brasil under the direction of Pavel  Kazarian, where he participated in the works "Jurei Pro Amor Um Dia Te  Encontrar" by Jomar Mesquita, "Giselle" by Vladmir Vasiliev, “Raymonda”  by Marius Petipa and “Elegya” by Vladmir Vasiliev. He also danced the role of  Prince Desirée in Marius Petipa's "Sleeping Beauty" in the version of  Mario Galizzi at the Municipal Theater of Lima, Peru. As a dancer with the São  Paulo Companhia de Dança, he performed solo roles in "Swan Lake", "La  Sylphide" and "Spectre de La Rose" by Mario Galizzi, "Les  Sylphides" by Ana Botafogo, and "Giselle" by Lars Van  Cauwenbergh among others like “The Seasons and Trick Cell Play” by Edouard  Lock, “Anthem” by Goyo Montero, “Céu Cinzento” by Clébio de Oliveira, “Rococo  Variation” by Sthephen Shropshire, “Workwithinwork” by William Forsythe, “Petite  Mort” by Jiri Kylian, "Suite for two pianos" von Uwe Scholz, "Gnawa" von Nacho Duato and “Odisseia” by Joelle Bouvier. In the 2022/23 season he moved to Europe as a company member of the Ballett am Rhein and has since been seen as Franz in Demis Volpi's "Krabat" and the role of the Nutcracker in Volpi's "Der Nussknacker". He also danced in Marcos Morau's "le sacre du printemps", "Coppélia x Machina" by Hélène Blackburn and "North Country" by Bridget Breiner, among others.
