Israel-born Yoav Bosidan was trained in classical dance and Graham technique at the Thallama-Yallin School of the Arts. After graduating with distinction, he completed a bachelor course in dance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag while also dancing in performances of Nationale Ballet in Amsterdam. He entered his first official engagement in 2012 with the Balletto di Firenze “KAOS”. At the same time, Yoav Bosidan also taught and danced at Lucca Ballet Academy. 2014 brought him a contract with the Israel Ballet under its director Ido Tadmor, and in 2015 he moved on to Ballet Ness Ziona with the rank of First Soloist. As an instructor in ballet and modern dance Yoav Bosidan has taught in ballet schools and on numerous summer courses in and around Tel Aviv. Grants awarded by Eli Leon, the Keren Ronen Organisation and a Keren Sharet Scholarship enabled him to attend intensive courses at the American Academy of Ballet in New York and the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. His repertoire includes ballets by Mats Ek (Pas de deux from ‘Giselle’), Nacho Duato (‘Mediterranean Sea’ and ‘Por Vos Muero’), David Bentley (‘Gallantries’), August Bournonville (‘Napoli’) and Marius Petipa (‘Sleeping Beauty’).
Yoav Bosidan has been a member of the Ballett am Rhein since the 2016/17 season, where he most recently performed the roles of die Puppe in Hélène Blackburn's "Coppélia x Machina" and die Wärme in Gil Harush's "Don't look at the jar". He has also appeared in Demis Volpi's choreographies "A simple piece" and "Der Nussknacker", as well as "Le sacre du printemps" by Marcos Morau, among others.
