Show off your skills and stamina at the ultimate dance marathon at UFO. Inspired by the dance marathons of the 1920s, we'll be dancing to live music on Quartiersplatz for an entire afternoon. The person who lasts the longest will win a special prize.

Dancing makes you happy. Dance marathons were already popular in the 1920s. Many participants experienced moments of euphoria and forgot everything around them in the intoxication of dance. Continuing this tradition, the whole of Düsseldorf will be dancing to live music in an afternoon competition. Musician and DJ Benedikt ter Braak transports us into a wide range of emotional states with his music, combining well-known hits with live electronics. Small dance challenges—led by dance teacher and choreographer Michael Foster—turn the dance marathon into an exciting battle. Ultimately, it's all about one thing: getting the beat right and letting the movements flow. The dancers who last the longest receive a special prize.
