Introductions
On all performance dates you are welcome to attend an introduction to the work in the foyer 30 minutes before the start of the performance, whether this is an opera, operetta or ballet. Key information about the work itself, its story and interpretation will prepare you for your evening in the theatre.
Introductions will be held in the foyer on the level of the 1. Rang.
Introductions will be held in the Opernfoyer. Please note that due to the particular features of the building, the Opernfoyer does not have disabled access. However, we do offer a disabled option with our Audio Opera Guide (see below).
We are also pleased to be able to provide age-appropriate introductions to our operas for children half an hour before the beginning of all family and school performances. Here the audience can discover the most important points about the story, the music and the production in a short period of time.
