Luke Pan

Luke Pan began guitar lessons at the Hilden Music School in 2004 and has won several prizes at “Jugend Musiziert” and international competitions such as the Segovia Competition. He studied classical guitar with Prof. Hans-Werner Huppertz at the Cologne University of Music and Dance, conducting with Ernst von Marshall and Prof. Rüdiger Bohn, and composition with Prof. Qiming Yuan. Master classes with Nicolas Pasquet and Howard Williams, among others, rounded off his training. As a conductor, he has performed internationally and worked with orchestras such as the Bergische Symphoniker, the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie, the Filarmonica de Stat “Dinu Lipatti,” and the Duisburger Philharmoniker. He has been conducting the Concerto Langenfeld since 2020 and the Jugendzupforchester NRW since 2025. He has conducted opera productions such as “Le système sacrificiel,” “Transient,” and “Der Zar lässt sich photographieren” and has been choir assistant at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein since 2024.
