It is the largest charity event of its kind organised by the German Red Cross in Germany: the festive opera gala of the Duisburg Red Cross is a highlight in the social life of the city and is in demand far beyond its borders. Soloists from the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of chief conductor Vitali Alekseenok will once again present a glittering musical programme for the 19th edition, waiving their fees in aid of the DRK.
When you buy your ticket, you are not only buying the anticipation of an exclusive concert programme: you are also supporting social projects and the work of the DRK in Duisburg. VIP tickets make it a very special evening: a festive atmosphere at the champagne reception, the best seats at the gala concert and a multi-course culinary highlight dinner to round off the evening - for an all-round successful evening.
