At the center of the tripple bill is David Dawson's award-winning classic about an intangible yet hopeful state between the end and a new beginning: “The Grey Area” seems to defy gravity and dynamically celebrates the beauty of the very moment.
Not the destination, but the journey itself is the inspiration for Bridget Breiner's new creation. Together with the company, she explores the precious moments of being in-between, of a continuous process.
The Canadian choreographer Lesley Telford concludes this exploration of in-between spaces. Amidst a hanging, stylized forest, the piece reflects on the fragile relationship between humans and man-made systems. What appears stable and unbreakable can reveal its fragility at the slightest change. Inspired by the parable of the Sword of Damocles, the work evokes a world suspended in delicate balance—always on the verge of tipping.
