Tell me, Pinocchio, what are you saying? You've seen people turn into donkeys? You sat in the belly of a whale? And you've met the blue fairy, who is the very best anyway? You're teasing us! Don't you know that lies have short legs? Uh... Pinocchio, wait a minute! That can't be true! You made up all these stories!

Together with the Kinderchor am Rhein, the Akademie für Chor und Musiktheater and soloists from the ensemble, Marius Schötz and Marthe Meinhold turn the story of Pinocchio upside down and inject some energy into the fabulously high-flying adventures of the talking wooden puppet, who actually does(n't) want to become a good boy. And whether blunders are automatically mistakes - or whether they are just Pinocchios who stroll through life with charm and anarchy - is not really a question.
