Opera and ballet at a special summer price: “Summer in the City” is the name of our sunny ticket special for all those who have not planned any short trips on the upcoming holiday weekends and are planning to spend their leisure time at home. On the three long weekends between May 29 and June 22, we have set up a limited number of up to 99 tickets at half price for each performance of the “Summer in the City” promotion. Booking quickly pays off!

Here's how it works: By entering the promotion code Summer2025 ( please note that the code is case-sensitive), you will receive a 50% discount for the performances listed below - redeemable at the Duisburg box office and the Düsseldorf Opera Shop, by telephone on 0203.283 62 100 or 0211.89 25 211 and online in the webshop (mark the desired seats in the seating plan, register / log in and enter the above code in the promotion code field on the right during the “Check and payment” step: The total amount will then be discounted).
